Restaurants, perhaps more often than any other businesses are establishments that are most closely connected to our personal experiences.
The Red Forest Hotpot restaurant is situated in Taipei city Banchu, and it was Maxthreads’ vision to convert the interior into a point of integration between the traditional Chinese hotpot restaurant and cafe culture, both from a gastronomic and an aesthetic point of view. The result is a space of extraordinary simplicity and elegance, without direct references to Chinese culture, but with subtle illusions to the atmosphere and tranquility found in China’s traditional architecture.
